Meet Our Salon Director

With 36 years of experience in the hair industry, our Director is a true expert in their craft. Specialising in razor cutting and holding the prestigious Wella Colour Expert title—the highest accolade awarded by Wella—they bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the salon. Beyond their technical expertise, they are deeply committed to education and training, ensuring that our team is well-rounded and continually growing.

Outside of the salon, they enjoy staying active through cycling, skiing, and yoga. Downtime is spent with loved ones, especially their family, friends, and two beloved black Labradors, Tori and Oscar.

Since 1988, The Head Gardener has been a cornerstone of Inverness, known for exceptional hair care and a deep commitment to the community. We proudly support the Highland Hospice through volunteering and fundraising, raising over £400,000 in four years. Our salon is also an NHS-approved supplier of wigs, sponsored by LA Hair Solutions, helping those experiencing hair loss regain confidence and identity. Alison’s dedication extends to global challenges and weekly volunteering, embodying our salon’s ethos of compassion and service.
